Something I’ve been trying to pull off lately: Each round of sketches is done in presentable condition right off the bat, with the intention of the sketch document acting as the major deliverable for each round of work.
So as I’m going along, I add notes, keep things organized, and generally try to keep an accurate and presentable record of my thinking. This helps cut back on meta-organization, like going back through and picking things out, adding headlines, etc.
All other work for the examples above was limited to paper sketches or business documents.
It has worked well, so far. I get a little better at it with each project. I have tendencies towards being a space cadet with my work, and this forces a certain discipline on my thinking.
