I’m back in Massachusetts as of a few months ago. An hour North of Boston, just shy of New Hampshire. It’s beautiful country. Marshland, forests, the ocean, pilgrim villages and a deep sense of community.
My own family history is mixed and largely unknown, so I like to think I was adopted into the area by my in-laws, whose branches reach back to the Mayflower and beyond.
I work out of my garage which opens to a farm on one side and a highway on the other. There’s no wifi, which means I’ll be running into my kitchen to make this post.
I’ve started working as a consultant for startups. After Svpply I find myself in possession of new confidence and expertise, which so far has meant getting to do exactly the kind of work I love to do. Namely, helping young companies find their identity, both as a product and a brand. I’ll try and post some new work soon.
Acting as CEO was easily one of the hardest things I’ve ever tried to do, but I find my horizons a mile higher for the effort. I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to thank Eric, Zach and our investors properly for the opportunity.
In the meantime I’m ridiculously excited to get back into design and to dive deeply into my next project.
